Dr. Robert Negrin is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Stanford University and directs the Blood and Marrow Transplantation program. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley and MD from Harvard University. He completed his training in internal medicine and hematology at Stanford University. Dr. Negrin's research interests are in the application of novel therapies in the transplant setting. He directed one of the first studies using purified hematopoietic stem cells in the clinic. Dr. Negrin is the medical director of the Clinical Bone Marrow Transplant Laboratory and also has a research laboratory focusing on detection of minimal disease and the application of immune-based therapies. |
