Robert began his career with SunGard Corbel in 1985, and has served as Director of the Technical Consulting Department since 1992. He is instrumental in authoring and supporting SunGard Corbel's retirement plan documents, as well as being co-author of the firm's Cafeteria (Section 125) plans. He is well known in the industry as a frequent lecturer, both locally and nationally, on employee benefits. In addition, he often is a contributing author in employee benefits publications and serves on The ASPPA Journal Committee, a publication of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA). Robert is a member of the board of directors of ASPPA and is also Chair of ASPPA's Government Affairs Administrative Relations Committee. Robert is also a member of the National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA), The Florida Bar, and the Gulf Coast Area TE/GE Council. Robert received a B.S., with a major in Finance, from the University of Florida, a J.D. from Florida State University, and an LL.M. in taxation from the University of Florida.
