Mr. Schaefer joined the RS team as Chief Financial Officer in August 2005. He is responsible for all the company's financial affairs and has extensive experience in growth-oriented companies, with over 17 years of experience in Canada, the United States and Europe. Most recently, Mr. Schaefer was a business development executive within the energy industry in Canada and the United States, responsible for mergers and acquisitions and growth initiatives. Prior to that, he served as CFO for a large gas marketing organization, where he was responsible for all financial functions and new business development. Mr. Schaefer has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary and is a Chartered Accountant, with membership in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta. |
