Mr. Schneiderwind has more than 20 years of highly diverse design engineering and technical management leadership experience within the semi-conductor industry. He started his career designing ASICs at Honeywell Defense Avionics, and then moved to Martin Marietta Astronautics as a senior engineer, leading multiple research and development projects including discovery of new methodologies for full custom GaAs for space applications. In 1993, he co-founded FirstPass Engineering, a full-service design house, where he led the company in the design of commercial, military and aerospace applications. Following the acquisition of FirstPass by Vitesse Semiconductor, Bob assumed responsibility for driving methodology improvements, including verification and IP reuse. He received his BSEE from the University of Nebraska in 1985. |
