Robert (Chip) Schooley, MD is Professor and Head of the Division of Infectious Diseases of the University of California, San Diego. He has served as Chair of the NIH's AIDS and Related Retrovirus 1 Study Section and as Chair of the Executive Committee of the NIAID's AIDS Clinical Trials Group. His interests are in the areas of viral pathogenesis and therapy. Dr. Schooley is currently a Member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science; American Society for Clinical Investigation; American Society for Microbiology; Clinical immunology Society; and Association of American Physicians and is a Fellow of the Infectious Disease Society of America. |
