Robert Tatum has overall operational responsibility for Mobius Security Group's four business units: RailSecure, SeaSecure, EnergySecure, and Integrated Security Solutions. Mr. Tatum also directs operations for the parent Mobius Security Group, including field operations, business development, and intelligence analyses.Mr. Tatum has extensive experience managing the operations of fortune 100 corporations. As Senior Vice President of Technology for General Electric, Mr. Tatum directed design and development of all security systems, financial applications, and human resource, payroll/personnel systems for GE Information Services Company. These systems consolidated the financial results of 425 subsidiary corporations of the General Electric Corporation. Mr. Tatum managed a Systems Engineering staff of 145, and support staff of over 350.As a recognized leader in the convergence of security systems and information technology, Mr. Tatum has managed the integration of security guards and technology combining CCTV, DVRs, detection devices, access control systems, intelligent video, and fire and burglary alarms for the integrated security of various facilities into a single central monitoring site. He has also designed and managed centralized security monitoring centers, directing their software development, and the operation of integrated security systems. He has managed information technology, data processing centers, and security systems for GE, Electronic Data Systems (EDS), and Mid-Continent Computer Services. At EDS he managed software design and system development for the complete EDS Banking System with a systems engineering staff of 320.During his tenure as Senior Vice President of Operations at Mid-Continent Computer Systems, Mr. Tatum directed Data Center Computer Operations; IT Security; Help Desk; Systems Engineering; and application design and development for 325 banks and 855 Savings & Loans, with on-line processing for over 8,000 branches. He also had P&L responsibility for four data centers throughout the western part of the United States. While residing in Tokyo, Japan with General Dynamics, he served as a Field Engineering Manager for Southeast Asia during which time he directed an engineering staff in nineteen countries, from Thailand to Hong Kong.As a Consultant to UK-based Farsight Security PLC, he was responsible for launching the company's security infrastructure software product in the Americas. Mr. Tatum designed and implemented the hosted ASP model for delivery of security services including integration of access control, CCTV, DVRs, detection technologies, and fire & burglary to central monitoring sites.Mr. Tatum attended San Diego State University where he earned a B.S. in Information Systems from the School of Business and an MBA in International Finance. |
