Mr. Valentine assists in handling client engagements and manages the research activities within TCP. Previously, he was an Associate with Coronado Advisors LLC. At Coronado Mr. Valentine directed all research activities and provided a broad range of advisory services to companies in the multi-unit retail industry. Before joining Coronado Mr. Valentine held the title of Research Director with Shoreline Partners LLC, a private investment bank specializing in mergers and acquisitions in the middle market. He was responsible for identification of qualified buyers and sellers, valuation, transaction due diligence and execution. Prior to joining Shoreline, Mr. Valentine was a Senior Manager at Consor Inc., an intellectual property consultancy specializing in the valuation and licensing of intellectual property. Mr. Valentine directed client engagements in the valuation and leveraging of intellectual property assets, including brands, trademarks, logos and other intangible assets. Prior to joining Consor, Mr. Valentine spent five years at Union Bank of California at various positions of increasing responsibility including overall responsibility for valuation, administration and marketing of limited partnerships and closely held corporations administered within the Trust and Investment Group. Mr. Valentine also administered a portfolio of personal trust accounts and provided a broad range of advisory services related to estate and succession planning. Mr. Valentine received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Arizona.
