Robin G. Weiner joined Biosite Incorporated in September 2004 as Vice President, Regulatory and Government Affairs. Weiner is responsible for leading the company�s worldwide product approvals, reimbursement and regulatory compliance activities.
Prior to joining Biosite, from 1995 to 2004, Weiner served as the Vice President, Clinical and Regulatory Affairs for Quidel Corporation, a manufacturer and distributor of medical diagnostic products. Prior to that, she held various management level positions for Quidel from 1982 to 1995. Prior to joining Quidel, she held positions at the Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation and the University of California, San Diego. In 1990, Weiner was selected as her company�s YWCA Tribute to Women and Industry (TWIN) honoree, a nationwide program that recognizes women who have made an outstanding contribution to their employers and industries.
Weiner holds a bachelor�s degree from the University of California, San Diego and a master�s degree in business administration from National University. |
