Robin Jones leads the strategic planning, business and partnership development, and IP licensing activities for FonJax. She is also responsible for product marketing, public relations, and corporate communications functions. Robin has broad experience in the wireless and semiconductor industries, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital investment, IP licensing, partnership negotiation, strategic planning and project management. Prior to joining FonJax, she directed the business development team at Freescale Semiconductor�s Wireless and Mobile Systems Group, a $1.6B business unit. While at Freescale, she was responsible for the company�s wireless and mobile M&A strategy, leading to the acquisition and integration of several mobile startup companies. She also executed dozens of strategic relationships with companies such as NVIDIA, Cambridge Silicon Radio, Marvell and DiBcom. Previously, Robin ran the Silicon Valley operations for Motorola Ventures, including due diligence, negotiation, valuation, investment, and board membership for over a dozen early- and mid-stage equity investments. At Motorola, Robin served as project manager within their Communications Sector, managing advanced wireless communications devices for Asian and European markets, including the first smartphone for the Greater China region. Robin earned her MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and a BS from Stanford University. |
