Rochelle W. Tyl, PhD, DABT, Senior Fellow in developmental and reproductive toxicology, appointed in November 2005, has more than 35 years of experience in developmental and reproductive biology and toxicology. She is the research director of Life Sciences and Toxicology at RTI. Tyl has been study director for more than 30 multi-generation studies, more than 20 specialized reproductive and endocrine toxicity studies, and over 150 developmental toxicity studies. She lectures nationally and internationally by invitation and has participated in multiple federal agency workgroups. She is the author or coauthor of over 85 peer-reviewed articles, 17 book chapters, over 80 abstracts, and over 35 government reports. She was president of the Teratology Society for 2003-2004. Tyl will be vice president of the reproductive and developmental toxicology specialty section of the Society of Toxicology for 2007-2008. Since 1983, she has been a diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology and is currently serving on the ABT Board of Directors. |
