Richard C. Polley is a shareholder of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. He has extensive experience in Civil Trial Practice and Personal Injury Defense, as well as Toxic Tort Law, Commercial Litigation, Construction Law, Product Liability Law, and Employment Law. Mr. Polley is the Director of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote's West Virginia office located in Wheeling, West Virginia, and Ohio office located in Steubenville, Ohio. Mr. Polley is admitted to the bar of Pennsylvania - 1981; West Virginia - 1992; Ohio - 1998; and New York - 2006. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, United States District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia. He is a member of the Ohio Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, and West Virginia Bar Association. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Defense Institute as well as a member of the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia. Mr. Polley graduated cum laude from Allegheny College in 1978 with a B.S. in Mathematics. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Theta Chi fraternity. He received his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1981. He served as Comment Editor, for the University of Pittsburgh Law Review, 1979-1980. He was a founding member of the University of Pittsburgh Journal of Law and Commerce and served as Comments and Note Editor from 1980 to 1981. Mr. Polley is active in coaching children. He has coached basketball teams for the North Allegheny Basketball Association and West Penn Wolverine AAU Basketball. In addition, he has been active in Ingomar Franklin Park Athletic Association coaching both baseball and softball teams. He has also been involved in coaching girls' fast pitch softball with the Pittsburgh Power organization. He is active at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Wexford, PA. |
