Rod Dammeyer has served as a director of Ventana since August 2003. Mr. Dammeyer is president of CAC, llc, a private company offering capital investment and management advisory services. He is retired vice-chairman of Anixter International and retired managing partner of Equity Group Investments, L.L.C. (corporate investments). Mr. Dammeyer also is a trustee of Van Kampen Investments, Inc., a diversified asset management company, and of the University of Chicago Hospitals & Health System. He is a director of GATX Corporation, which combines financing, asset, and logistics solutions worldwide. TheraSense, Inc., a leader in glucose monitoring and maker of the FreeStyle system. Stericycle, Inc., a provider of regulated medical waste management services, and The Scripps Research Institute. Mr. Dammeyer received a BS in Accounting from Kent State University. |
