Mr Pannone is a consultant with Pannone & Partners, having been a senior partner for over fifteen years. Mr Pannone was President of the Law Society of England and Wales in 1993 and 1994. He was advisor to the Lord Chancellor on the Civil Justice Review and a member of the Lord Woolf Working Party on Multiple Civil Claims. Mr Pannone has held and holds a number of public and non-executive positions including the Chairmanship of the Forensic Science Service for nine years until 2004. He was Chairman of Manchester University and is a member of the Legal Advisory Board of RAC PLC. He was Chairman of the Governors of the College of Law from 1999 to 2004. He is an Honorary Fellow of Birmingham University and Manchester Metropolitan University. He has received Honorary Doctorates from Manchester University, the University of Salford and Nottingham Trent University. He is an Honorary Life Member of the Canadian Bar and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. |
