Roeland Vos is President for Europe, Africa & Middle East for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. In his role he directly oversees the operation for more than 260 hotels and resorts in 58 countries.
Prior to this appointment, Mr. Vos served as President, Europe from January 2000 and preceding this he served as SVP, Area Director Italy & Malta, a position he held from 1998 to 1999. Mr. Vos joined Starwood Hotels & Resorts in 1982 as Management Trainee at the Sheraton Brussels Hotel & Towers and since then has held a number of management positions.
A Dutch national, Mr. Vos graduated from the Hotel Management School, The Hague in the Netherlands and holds a B.A. in Financial Hotel Administration.
He is based at the Company's EAME Divisional Office in Brussels, Belgium. He is married and has three children.
