Roeleke is a consulting actuary in the Amsterdam office of Milliman and joined the firm in 2007. She and her team carry out consulting assignments in the Netherlands and Belgium. Prior to this, she worked three years as senior actuarial consultant at group Actuarial & Risk Management of Delta Lloyd Verzekeringen BV (subsidiary of Aviva) on the non-life and health side. Before that, she worked six years for Ernst & Young Actuaries as actuarial manager (non-life and health) and three years for Levob Verzekeringen as an actuarial specialist. Roeleke is responsible for setting up a Health practice in Amsterdam.Experience Roeleke has performed a wide range of actuarial consulting missions for a variety of clients, mainly major Dutch insurers. She advises clients in the areas of statutory reserving, including liability adequacy testing, valuations, and risk management.In non life, she was among others projectleader in developing a risk-based capital model for property & casualty insurance and involved in all aspects of the project, including data investigations, analysing historical experience and fitting appropriate probability distributions, interpreting catastrophe simulations, running the stochastic modelling software, and communicating the results of the project. In health, she has been involved in pricing, reserving, and price elasticity studies and was responsible for actuarial support in mergers and aquistions projects.
