Mr. Roes has been a Commissioner since December 2002. He currently serves as the Deputy Minister of State Owned Enterprises (Mining, Strategic Industry, Energy and Telecommunications). In the past, he has held several positions, including Head of Planning Bureau, Department of Mining and Energy from 1999 to 2000, Commissioner for PT Pertamina (Persero) in 2003 and resigned on August 2005, Secretary of Government Commissioner for PT Pertamina in 2000, Head of Geothermal Exploration and Production Sub-Directorate from 1994 to 1999, and Head of Natural Gas Refinery and Transportation Sub-Directorate from 1990 to 1991. He earned an MSc degree in Petroleum Economics from University of New South Wales, Australia and degree in Petroleum Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology in 1977. |
