Roger Sisson joined Genesco in 1994 as assistant general counsel and corporate secretary. He was promoted to legal counsel and corporate secretary in 1995, corporate secretary and general counsel in 1996, and vice president, corporate secretary and general counsel in 2000. Sisson was named vice president in November 2003 and promoted to senior vice president in October 2006.
A native of Tennessee, Sisson received his undergraduate degree in history from The University of the South, where he was a Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his law degree from the University of Virginia, where he was an associate editor of the Virginia Law Review. Prior to joining Genesco, he was affiliated with the Nashville office of Boult, Cummings, Conner & Berry PLC, where he practiced corporate and securities law.
An active member of the community, he most recently served as a board member with the PENCIL Foundation. |
