Roger VanDerSnick serves as Senior Vice President, Marketing and Business Operations for International Speedway Corporation (ISC), a motorsports entertainment company based in Daytona Beach, Fla.
VanDerSnick joined the company in March, 2006, as Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, responsible for the Company's corporate and consumer sales and marketing initiatives. VanDerSnick assumed his current position in July 2007, and now oversees management of ISC�s premier motorsports facilities and MRN Radio, as well as the Company�s marketing and sales activities. He also will continue to serve on the managing boards of Motorsports Authentics and Stock Car Montreal.
Prior to joining ISC, VanDerSnick served as NASCAR's Vice President of Marketing. He joined NASCAR in 2000 to create and lead the brand and consumer marketing department. Under his leadership, the department was responsible for NASCAR brand management functions including: advertising, media planning, brand identity, marketing/media research and national/regional consumer marketing programs. Additionally, VanDerSnick's group managed overall sponsorship and marketing programs for the three national racing series, NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series, NASCAR Busch Series and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
Prior to joining NASCAR, VanDerSnick spent 15 years with Procter & Gamble, the last seven of which included leading the marketing and branding efforts of several packaged-goods brands.
VanDerSnick graduated with a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, where he was an All-Conference football player. |
