Roger Agnelli - Mr. Agnelli has been a member of our Board of Directors since April 3, 2006 and is also a member of the Board of Directors of Petrobras Distribuidora S.A. BR. He has been the CEO and President of Companhia Vale do Rio Doce (CVRD) since July 2001. He was the Chairman of the Board of Directors of CVRD from May 2000 until July 2001. He joined Bradesco Financial Group in 1981 and stayed until 2001, serving as the Executive Director of Banco Bradesco from 1998 to 2000 and as the CEO and President of Bradespar S.A. from 2000 to 2001. He is a former member of the Board of Directors of several major companies in Brazil, such as Companhia Paulista de For�a e Luz, Companhia Sider�rgica Nacional, Latas de Alum�nio Latasa, VBC Energia, Brasmotor, Mahle Metal Leve, Rio Grande Energia and Serra da Mesa Energia, and was also a Director of UGB Participa��es and Vice-President of the Associa��o Nacional dos Bancos de Investimento ANBID (Brazil�s National Association of Investment Banks). He is a member of the Boards of Directors of ABB (Asea Brown Boveri), Spectra Energy Corporation, and Suzano Petroqu�mica. He is a member of the Conselho de Desenvolvimento Econ�mico e Social CDES (Economic and Social Development Council), an advisory body to the Brazilian Government, and a member of the International Investments Council, formed to advise the President of South Africa, Dr.Thabo Mbeki. He recently became a member of the International Advisory Committee of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). Mr. Agnelli earned a Bachelor�s Degree in Economics from Funda��o Armando �lvares Penteado (Armando �lvares Penteado Foundation), in S�o Paulo, Brazil, in 1981. |
