Roger Hughes has an extensive financial and operational management background, beginning with an 18-year career at Texas Instruments. His background includes positions in government, electronics, geophysical services, and the semiconductor industry. He joined Object Reservoir in May 2002.
Hughes served from 1986 to 1994 as CEO of Merit Technology, a company that provided radar simulation, terrain mapping, and battle simulation. At Optical Data Services, a publicly traded company, he was CFO from 1994 to 1996 and dealt extensively with investment bankers and analysts. In 2000, he became a partner in Startech Early Ventures, a business accelerator with a $32 million seed fund.
Hughes graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master's degree in Business Administration. Hughes also is a certified public accountant. |
