Roger W. Lindsay is senior vice president Asia Pacific at The Timken Company. Mr. Lindsay joined the company in 1990 as director human resources Europe Africa and West Asia in Colmar France. Prior to joining Timken he held various human resource positions for Ford Motor Company and Dow Chemical. He moved to Canton in 1993 where he served as executive assistant to the vice president bearings North and South America and assistant general manager roller and cage manufacturing Canton. In 1996 Mr. Lindsay moved to Sosnowiec Poland as deputy managing director Central Europe and in 1997 he was named managing director Central Europe and Eastern Europe based in Bucharest Romania. Mr. Lindsay played a key role in the acquisition of the company�s Romanian facility and the development of its sales and distribution network throughout the region. He returned to Canton in 1999 as vice president human resources and organizational advancement to lead the organization�s 2000 restructure project. Mr. Lindsay was named senior vice president human resources and organizational advancement in 2002.
He received a bachelor�s degree in economics and sociology from the University of Southampton and a master�s degree in management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. |
