Rohit Philip is vice president of Financial Planning and Analysis for United. He is based at the company's headquarters in Chicago.
Named to the position in July 2007, Philip is responsible for business development and overseeing the company's operating and capital plans. Prior to his current position, he was United's assistant treasurer.
Philip joined United in 1995 as a senior financial analyst. He has held a number of leadership roles in the finance organization and within UAL Loyalty Services, where he was vice president of finance and business development. He also served as managing director of United's restructuring office. Philip also played a critical role in leading several significant financial transactions, including aircraft refinancing plans and the sale of the company's stake in online travel agencies.
Prior to joining United, Philip worked for Integrated Finance Company, Ltd., in Mumbai, India.
He holds a master's degree in business administration from Cornell University's Johnson Graduate School of Management, and a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Bombay. |
