Mr. Van Iperen joined Océ-Technologies B.V., in Venlo, the Netherlands, the central operating company of Océ N.V. in September 1978. He held several positions in the Research & Development Department of Océ, including Project Leader of major new products and Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department. In 1986 he was appointed Vice President of the Research & Development organization, responsible for the complete product development program.
In 1989 Mr. Van Iperen became Business Group Manager of Office Automation (later re-named Printing Systems), and he was appointed Business Unit Manager Printing Systems in 1990. In December 1992 he joined Océ-Belgium S.A. at Bruxelles as Managing Director of that company.
In May 1995 he was appointed member of the Board of Executive Directors of Océ N.V. returning to Océ Headquarters in Venlo, The Netherlands. Since being appointed to the Board on May 1, 1995 he has been responsible for the integration of the former Siemens-Nixdorf High Performance Printing Division into the Océ organization. On September 1, 1999, he was appointed Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of Océ N.V.
Rokus van Iperen was born on September 19, 1953 in Vianen, the Netherlands. He is married and has two children. Mr. Van Iperen is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Eindhoven.
