He participates in the Antitrust Section, the Tort and Insurance Law Section, and the Toxic and Hazardous Substances Litigation Section of the American Bar Association. He was also the Idaho Chairman of the Ninth Circuit Construction Committee of the Litigation Section of the ABA and is a member of the ABA's Aviation and Space Law Committee serving on the first Governing Committee of one Forum Committee on Air and Space Law from 1983-1989. Mr. Rock is on the Toxic and Hazardous Substance Litigation Committee of the International Association of Defense Counsel and has also served as chairman of the mentoring program sponsored by the Idaho State Bar to train recently admitted attorneys in litigation and practice skills. He frequently speaks on federal and state antitrust and environmental laws.Mr. Rock attended Ricks College, received his undergraduate degree from the University of Idaho, cum laude, and his law degree from the University of Idaho College of Law in 1965. |
