Ronald Gardhouse has been our Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President since February 2007 and our Treasurer since April 2007. From April 2004 to September 2006, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Advanced Accessory Systems, a company that designs and manufactures automotive accessories for original equipment manufacturer's and the aftermarket. From March 2001 to April 2004, he was a consultant and a member of the board of directors of Next Energy, a not-for-profit company that promotes alternative energy sources. From April 1999 to March 2001, Mr. Gardhouse was an Executive Vice President at Exide Technologies, a global manufacturer of automotive and industrial batteries, in multiple assignments based in Europe, including Chief Financial Officer and Administration for European Operations and President, Transportation OEM. Mr. Gardhouse was employed by Daimler Chrysler as a Vice President and, prior to the merger of Chrysler Corporation and Daimler AG, in a succession of senior level positions over a 25-year period, including President, Asia Pacific Operations; Assistant Corporate Treasurer; Deputy Managing Director, Chrysler Mexico; and Assistant Corporate Controller. Mr. Gardhouse is a certified public accountant and began his career with Deloitte & Touche. He has a masters of business administration from Michigan State University and a bachelor of arts degree in business administration from Eastern Michigan University. |
