Mr. Miller is a Managing Director and a member of the firm's Board of Directors. Mr. Miller is responsible for both the marketing and execution of mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions and for originating and monitoring portfolio investments. Mr. Miller has advised clients completing more than 70 merger and acquisition and public and private financing assignments representing approximately $5.0 billion of transaction value. Prior to forming Cleary Gull in March 2002, Mr. Miller was a Managing Director in the Investment Banking Department at Tucker Anthony Sutro. In addition to his investment banking responsibilities, he served on the firm's Private Placement Commitment Committee and on the Investment Committee of the TASCM Investment Partnership. He also coordinated firm-wide MBA and undergraduate recruiting. Prior to joining Tucker Anthony Sutro, Mr. Miller was a banker at First Chicago Corporation in Chicago and a Financial Analyst at Morgan Stanley in New York City. Mr. Miller received a M.M. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, a B.S.E. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.A. in History from the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Miller is on the Board of Directors of the COA Youth & Family Center and the Association for Corporate Growth and is a member of the Milwaukee Forum. He is a frequent guest lecturer at the University of Milwaukee Wisconsin School of Business Administration. |
