Ron Mitchell joined Sterling Planet during the early formative years, bringing with him extensive day-to-day utility experience that proved instrumental in taking the company from startup to industry leadership.

Mr. Mitchell is the central figure in Sterling Planet�s daily operations, with responsibility for the bulk of activities outside the realms of finance and business development. He leads the customer service, information technology, procurement and marketing functions.

Mr. Mitchell brings to Sterling Planet more than 30 years of experience in the gas and electric utility industry, first at Atlanta Gas Light Company and later at Southern Company, a leading global utility. This experience has served him well at Sterling Planet, where he has managed the company�s relationships with electric utilities in the Northeast, Florida and elsewhere that have green pricing programs in which Sterling Planet actively participates.

In addition, Mr. Mitchell manages the company�s compliance with state public utility commissions, independent auditors and certifying agencies, including the Center for Resource Solutions� Green-e certification program for renewable energy.
