Dr. Bulard is a board certified implantologist with practices in New York City and Ardmore, Oklahoma. In addition, Dr. Bulard is a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology and Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. In his two-decade career, Dr. Bulard has personally placed and restored over 6,000 conventional dental implants and prosthetics. He holds an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Oklahoma State University and graduated with honors from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 1985. Dr. Bulard received postgraduate training in implant dentistry from the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta. He is the author of numerous publications and articles and holds seven patents in the field of dentistry. He also serves as a State of Oklahoma Forensic Dental Examiner and was named one of eleven outstanding entrepreneurs by the Oklahoma Department of Commerce in 2002. In 1998, Dr. Bulard modified the IMTEC Sendax MDI design to include the "O-ball" concept, resulting in the granting of a patent by the U. S. Patent and Trademark Office. More recently, he headed a team of engineers and scientists in developing ILUMA, IMTEC�s new cone beam CT device. Through his leadership, IMTEC has aligned with 3M Unitek, Kodak Dental and GE Healthcare to distribute the company�s ILUMA and its ORTHO orthodontic implants. As Chairman of the company�s Board of Directors, Dr. Bulard is responsible for the promulgation of board policies and procedures for management and growth of the company. He also serves as Implant Product Manager for the company, involving himself to a substantial extent with new implant products and systems. Shortly after IMTEC was founded, Dr. Bulard personally developed several effective dental products, including the Hexed-Head dental implant system, the ACCESS curved bristle toothbrush and the O-Ball concept of the IMTEC Sendax MDI Mini Dental Implant system. Under Dr. Bulard�s leadership, the company has grown to include forty-five active international distributors who sell IMTEC products in over eighty-five countries. Dr. Bulard has extensive teaching and academic credentials, including stints in the Department of Oral Pathology of the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. He is currently serving a dual appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral Implantology and the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at O.U. |
