Ronald A Glah serves as a Strategic Advisor to Falls River Group, LLC. Ron has been involved in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures for several years. He was president of Closure Systems International, the Alcoa business unit that produces plastic and aluminum bottle caps, plastic bottles, and capping and other equipment and supplies for worldwide packaging markets. Alcoa (NYSE: AA) is the world�s largest producer of closures for the beverage industry. Ron joined Alcoa in 1969 as a sales representative at the Davenport (Iowa) office. Over the next several years, he held sales management positions in Wichita, Oklahoma City, Atlanta and Pittsburgh. In 1983, he was named president of Alcoa Recycling Company, then located in Pittsburgh. Three years later he moved to Englewood, Colorado, as general manager of Alcoa�s Packaging Equipment Division, which manufactures equipment needed to make beverage cans and lids. In 1991, he was named president of the business unit. In 1994, Ron was elected an Alcoa vice president with responsibilities for Alcoa�s corporate-wide procurement and transportation activities. In April 1997 he was named President of Alcoa�s Closure Systems International Inc. Ron is a graduate of Michigan State University and also served in the U.S. Navy. |
