Ronald A. Morton Jr. M.D. F.A.C.S. Vice President Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Morton has served as Chief Medical Officer of GTx since April 2007. Dr. Morton joined GTx from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey Robert Wood Johnson Medical School where he served as Professor of Surgery Chief of Urology and Director of Urologic Oncology for the Cancer Institute of New Jersey. Dr. Morton also held the Conzen Chair for Clinical Research and was the Director of the New Jersey Center for Clinical and Translational Sciences. Prior to joining Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 2004 Dr. Morton held a dual faculty appointment at the Baylor College of Medicine in the Scott Department of Urology and in the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology was Clinical Director of the Baylor Adult Urology Program Chief of Urology at the Houston Veterans Administration Medical Center and Director of the Baylor Prostate Cancer Center Research Laboratories. He received his bachelor and medical degrees from the Johns Hopkins University and completed his urology training and postdoctoral fellowship and was an AFUD Scholar at the Johns Hopkins Brady Urological Institute. |
