Ronald B. Roteman joined Campbell & Levine in 1994. Mr. Roteman concentrates his practice in the areas of debtors' and creditors' rights, emphasizing both business and consumer bankruptcy and out-of-court workouts. As a bankruptcy practitioner, Mr. Roteman has represented numerous debtors and creditors in Chapters 7, 11, 12 and 13 bankruptcy cases. In addition to his insolvency practice, Mr. Roteman regularly advises and represents businesses and individuals in debt collection matters, mechanic's lien actions, and a variety of commercial transactions and other general business situations. Mr. Roteman is a board certified consumer and business bankruptcy specialist.
Prior to joining Campbell & Levine, Mr. Roteman clerked for the Honorable L. Edward Friend II of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of West Virginia.
Mr. Roteman earned a B.S. in accounting in 1984 from Penn State University, an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh in 1989, and a J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh in 1992. He is currently a member of the Pennsylvania and West Virginia bars, the third and fourth circuit courts of appeals, and the district courts for the western district of Pennsylvania and the northern and southern districts of West Virginia.
Listed in the Best Lawyers in America, Mr. Roteman is a member of the American, Pennsylvania, and Allegheny County Bar Associations, the American Bankruptcy Institute and Turnaround Management Association. He serves as a director of the Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section Council of the ACBA, and is a member of the board of directors of Southwinds, Inc., a charitable nonprofit organization serving adults with developmental challenges. Mr. Roteman is a frequent lecturer on various insolvency related matters. |
