Mr. Gorsch� is Of Counsel in Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck�s Denver office and a member of the firm�s Intellectual Property & Technology Group. His practice focuses on a broad range of intellectual property and patent matters including patent procurement and patent litigation.
He has prepared and successfully prosecuted patent applications in the fields of non-volatile memory, semiconductor design and fabrication, Internet business structures, computer hardware and software, fiber channel switching architectures, telecommunications, business methods and mechanical devices. Mr. Gorsch� also counsels clients in patent portfolio strategy and management issues, as well as preparing patentability, non-infringement and invalidity opinions.
Mr. Gorsch� has litigated numerous patent, trademark and copyright issues in many and diverse areas of technology, including matters concerning computer hardware and software, telecommunications, outdoor athletic gear, music, home appliances and plush animal toys, both in Federal Courts around the U.S. and before the U.S. International Trade Commission.
He has spoken to several groups on the topic of the taxation of intellectual property.
