Ronald Ruud is a senior partner in the Riverside office of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo. He represents California school districts and municipalities in education law and labor relations. He serves as chief negotiator for public school districts in negotiating collective bargaining agreements with certificated and classified employee bargaining units. Mr. Ruud advises top level school administrators on day-to-day contract administration problems and pre-arbitration grievance matters. He also represents school districts in unit determination practice litigation and unfair practice charges. Mr. Ruud is a guest lecturer for the UCLA Institute of Industrial Relations; University of California, Davis; University of Southern California; and Southern California and Northern California School Employers Association. He is a frequent lecturer at meetings and conferences of the California School Boards Association (CSBA) and the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) in areas relating to public sector labor and employer-employee relations.
