Ronald Harrell recently joined Kerogen Resources, Inc. as Chairman of the Board of Directors after retiring from his position as Chairman and CEO for Ryder Scott Company. Mr. Harrell began his distinguished career at Ryder Scott as a reservoir engineer in 1968 and worked his way through various technical and managerial positions that culminated in him becoming President in 1998, and CEO in 2000. Projects he personally oversaw include reserves certifications, property evaluations for sale, purchase or financing, reservoir management, gas supply analysis in support of the pipeline construction, gas storage studies, contract compliance and litigation support. He is highly regarded both domestically and internationally, having represented clients that include oil and gas producers, pipeline companies, utilities, banks, insurance companies, universities, municipalities, governmental agencies, law firms, investors, estates and royalty owners. Mr. Harrell is a well-published, noted authority and speaks often on various reservoir engineering subjects. Some of his areas of expertise include: oil and gas appraisal, property sales and acquisition, oil and gas reserves definitions and classifications, differences in reserves estimates, engineer's role in litigation, professional standards and ethics training, qualification of evaluation engineers and underground natural gas storage. He is highly respected world-wide as a recognized expert in petroleum reserves and resources classifications and standards.
