Ronald Schlosser is president and chief executive officer of Thomson Learning, a leading global provider of tailored learning solutions for individuals, businesses and institutions.
Prior to his current role heading Thomson Learning, Ronald Schlosser was president and chief executive officer of Thomson Scientific & Healthcare, where he successfully accelerated the group�s growth through an emphasis on electronic delivery.
Mr. Schlosser joined Thomson in 1995 as president and chief executive officer of Thomson Financial Publishing where he was responsible for seven divisions operating in the global financial services market. Prior to 1995, Mr. Schlosser served as president of Elsevier Science Inc., a division of Reed Elsevier, a science, technology and medical information organization. His responsibilities included serving as president of the European database organization for Elsevier Science BV.
Previous positions include general manager of marketing/operations at the Institute for Scientific Information and director of sales/marketing at several McGraw-Hill Inc. divisions. He co-authored McGraw-Hill Research and Evaluation Design Techniques in 1980.
Mr. Schlosser is a graduate of Rider University where he received his B.S. in Marketing and Fairleigh Dickinson University where he received his M.B.A. in Marketing. |
