Litigation
Ronald L. Cohen is a partner in Seward & Kissel's Litigation group and is the head of Seward & Kissel's Bankruptcy practice. Mr. Cohen has practiced law since 1976 and joined Seward & Kissel as a partner in 1988.
Mr. Cohen's primary responsibilities are providing bankruptcy advice to secured and unsecured creditors, debtors, chapter 11 trustees, creditors committees, insurers, limited partners and equity committees in major chapter 11 reorganizations.
Mr. Cohen received a B.A. (magna cum laude) in 1972 from Yale College, and a J.D. degree from Stanford Law School in 1975. Mr. Cohen is a member of the New York State Bar and the District of Columbia Bar.
Mr. Cohen is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second, Fifth and Eleventh Circuits and the Supreme Court of the United States. |
