Ron Berry joined HAP in 1998 as Associate Vice President of Financial Strategy and Compliance. He currently holds the role of Senior Vice President and Chief Finance Officer. Prior to joining HAP, Ron was a principal at Deloitte & Touche, L.L.P. and was the auditor in charge of the HAP financial audit. While at Deloitte & Touche, L.L.P. Ron had over 10 years of experience in providing auditing and consulting services to a wide spectrum of health care entities. Since joining HAP, Ron has been integrally involved in negotiating the divestiture of Medical Value Plan and resulting partnership with Paramount and more recently in the acquisition of SelectCare HMO. He earned his Bachelor in Business Administration - Accounting from the University of Michigan - Flint and is a certified public accountant. He is a past board member of the YMCA and the American Heart Association. |
