Dr. Brazg is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. Born and raised in South Africa, he came to the U.S. in 1986 initially working as a research physician in the Diabetes Program at Wayne State University in Detroit. He completed his internal medicine training and chief residency at Sinai Hospital in Detroit. He moved to the Seattle area in 1990 and completed his endocrinology and metabolism fellowship at the University of Washington in 1992. Dr. Brazg has been practicing medicine in the Renton area since 1992. His clinical interests and expertise include diabetes, thyroid disease and cholesterol disorders. He is actively involved in a number of research protocols in these areas providing the most current treatments available. He serves as co-director of Rainier Clinical Research Center and The Diabetes and Thyroid Center at Southlake Clinic. He has been included in the list of "Best Doctors in America," and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington and Fellow of the American College of Endocrinologists |
