Ronn S. Davids is a member of KTBS. Mr. Davids graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations in 1987. In 1995, he received his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and Administrative Editor of the Columbia Journal of Law and Social Problems. Mr. Davids is also an ordained rabbi and received a Master of Arts degree in Hebrew Letters from the Hebrew Union College Jewish Institute of Religion.
Mr. Davids represents middle-market and emerging growth companies in mergers and acquisitions, public and private equity and debt financings, leveraged buyouts, SEC reporting and disclosure, corporate restructurings and bankruptcies (including the purchase and sale of core assets, negotiations with creditors and advising officers and directors of distressed companies), venture capital investments, executive compensation and other general corporate matters.
Mr. Davids has authored Constituency Statutes: An Appropriate Vehicle for Addressing Transition Costs? (Columbia Journal of Law and Social Problems); Political Hostage-Taking: At the Intersection of Law and Ethics (Reform Jewish Ethics & the Halakhah); The Sacred in our Lives (The American Rabbi); and Ethical Amelioration: From the Bible to the Talmud (Rabbinic Thesis).
Mr. Davids is a member of the State Bar of California (Business Law Section) and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He is co-Chair of the Technology Industry Task Force of the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation, a founding member of the Restructuring & Insolvency Professionals of Southern California and a member of the Board of Overseers of the Hebrew Union College Jewish Institute of Religion.
