Dr. Jacobs is currently Senior Medical Officer, Southern Division. He has administrative and clinical responsibilities for operations of multiple Hospital Medicine Physicians (HMP) practice sites within this region.
Dr. Jacobs develops high quality hospitalist programs based on the needs of our client hospitals and their medical staffs. He is dedicated to the delivery of exceptional customer service and efficient use of resources in the achievement of the best possible patient outcomes.
Dr. Jacobs has practiced hospitalist medicine since 1995 in facilities throughout the Southeast. In addition to his general Hospitalist experience, Dr. Jacobs has also held management positions with a national hospitalist provider for over seven years with responsibilities for eleven clinical sites.
Dr. Jacobs is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. After receiving his Doctorate of Medicine from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, he completed his Internal Medicine residency at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. Dr. Jacobs is licensed in the states of Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. |
