Rose's areas of practice cover the spectrum of motion pictures, television, theater, home video, the performing arts and music. Rose's first job out of law school was as an associate at FWRV, and she has, with great cheer, been part of the firm ever since.
Rose teaches Entertainment Law at New York University School of Law, where she has been an Adjunct Professor of Law since 1985. She has also lectured extensively in the United States and in Europe on film financing, co-productions and music, and has developed numerous seminar series for filmmakers and attorneys. Specific lectures have included "The Option Agreement;" "The Music Business: Exclusive Recording Artist Agreement; "International Co-Production Models;" and "A Theater Overview" (NYU School of Law); "Development and Production of Audiovisual Works;" "Music in Movies;" "Net Profits" (Stellar Network); "Secrets to Protecting Your Rights" (New York Women in Film and Television). She has presented seminars at the Practicing Law Institute, the American Bar Association Forum on Entertainment and Sports Law, The Association of Authors' Representatives and the American Film Institute.
Rose was named a "Super Lawyer" in the 2006 edition of New York Super Lawyers/ Manhattan Edition, among 5% of Manhattan attorneys. According to the magazine, this selection was based on an independent survey of 59,000 Manhattan lawyers and an evaluation by a "blue ribbon panel of preeminent peers" in each area of practice.
Rose's affiliations include the following: she is an Adjunct Professor of Law at New York University Law School and is a faculty member of the European Master Program in Audiovisual Management in Rome. She is a member of the American Bar Association and its Patent, Trademark and Copyright Law Section; the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) East Coast; the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (New York Chapter); Stellar Network; The Authors Guild (member-at-large); and New York Women in Film and Television.
