Rose Cordero joined Kenyon & Kenyon LLP as a summer associate in 2003 and returned in the fall of 2004 as an associate in the New York office. Ms. Cordero's practice is focused on patent litigation and licensing in the mechanical and electrical arts.
While pursuing her undergraduate degree, Ms. Cordero researched laser welding at the Center for Research in Optics and Lasers at the University of Central Florida as part of a Research and Education Experience for Undergraduates sponsored by the National Science Foundation. Ms. Cordero also has experience as both an apprentice electrician and a mediator.
Throughout her academic career, Ms. Cordero has been involved in many pro-bono activities, which includes her role as Guardian ad Litem, mediator, and member of the Craven Bench of the Holderness Moot Court Bench. Ms. Cordero has also participated in the pro bono practice at Kenyon, particularly on a capital appeal through the ABA Death Penalty Representation Project and the Office of the Capital Defender in Northern Virginia.
Ms. Cordero received her B.S. in Mathematics, magna cum laude, from Elon University and J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. |
