Twenty seven years ago, famed copywriter and lecturer Rene Gnam explained that contrary to the description supplied by the employment agency, direct marketing was not typing mailing labels but working with clients who actually measured the success of their marketing campaigns. This explanation launched the direct marketing career of Rosemarie Montroy. Since that time Rosemarie has worked with a number of powerful direct marketing companies. She was the first female executive at Standard Rate & Data Service; she developed business-to-business list compilations at Zeller & Letica and after a six-year stint heading the list management division of Mal Dunn Associates, Rosemarie joined Direct Media in 1987.
Describing herself as a true marketer, Rosemarie not only led Direct Medias $20,000,000 consumer management group, she was a pioneer in what today have become common list marketing practices. Together with list legend, Dave Florence, Rosemarie was the first to introduce live enhancements to demographic/lifestyle overlays, developed the concept of multi-tier pricing, introduced modeling and list profiling and worked closely with clients to not only maximize list revenue, but to help them build their core businesses.
Today, Rosemarie leads the marketing and new business development for all of Direct Media. |
