Rosey Koberlein is the Chief Executive Officer of the Long Companies, overseeing the operations and future development of Long Realty, Southern Arizona's oldest and largest real estate Brokerage Company. The first woman to run the company in its 80-year history, Rosey also oversees the company's additional core businesses of Mortgage, Title and Insurance.
Rosey is a highly sought after resource on real estate issues, and is regularly contacted by the local, regional, and national media for her credentialed perspectives and unique insight. She has authored a number of professional articles exploring various real estate industry trends, and is frequently called upon to speak before local and national audiences. In 2005, she was honored to be among Tucson's 10 "Women of Influence," selected from more than 100 nominations by the editors of Inside Tucson Business.
Rosey began her real estate career in 1985 and, prior to joining Long Realty, was a Branch Manager at Mason McDuffie Financial Corporation in Northern California. She also served as Director of Employment and Training Programs for the City of Cleveland, Ohio, where she developed local programs to assist economically disadvantaged and unemployed individuals under the federal Comprehensive Employment and Training Act.
Rosey joined Long Realty in 1991, and has served in senior management positions with the company since 1995. During her tenure as Senior Vice President and General Manager from 1999 to 2003, the company grew by 140 percent.
A native of Pennsylvania, Rosey holds a Masters of Public Administration from Kent State University in Ohio, where her studies focused on organizational development. She is currently on the board of directors for the Tucson Association of Realtors and the Multiple Listing Service, as well as Habitat for Humanity Tucson. In 2006, Rosey was named to the Council of Trustees for Tucson Regional Economic Opportunities (TREO), and is currently assisting TREO in its efforts to produce an economic development blueprint for the region. |
