Mr. Wales is a partner in the Business and Finance Department of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP and chair of the firm's International Practice Area. He has been with the firm since 1974. Mr. Wales received his B.A. degree in history from Princeton University in 1969, and his J.D. degree in 1974 from the University of Virginia School of Law in Charlottesville, VA. He is admitted to the bars of Ohio and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. Mr. Wales has a general corporate and commercial practice, with emphasis on foreign corporations doing business in the United States and local corporations expanding to or working with business partners in foreign countries. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America published by Woodward/White, Who's Who in America and Who's Who in American Law.
