From 1980-87, Ross Clark, PhD was a researcher at the Medical Research Council laboratories at Mill Hill in London followed by 10 years as a consultant and a senior scientist in the Research Department at Genentech. While there, Dr. Clark led the pre-clinical development and guided key research programs for GH secretagogues, GH, IGF-1, and small molecule IGF's. Following Genentech, Dr. Clark served as chief scientist at NeuronZ, was a founding member of ViaLactica Biosciences, and founded Tercica. Dr. Clark has held the post of Professor of Endocrinology at the University of Auckland. He earned his PhD in Veterinary Physiology from Massey University, New Zealand. Dr. Clark is an inventor on over 40 issued United States patents, has published more than 100 scientific publications, and has served as an editor of several endocrine journals. |
