M. Ross Simmonds has held the position of Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President since December 2006 after originally joining Alphatec Spine as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Previously, Mr. Simmonds was Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center (Long Beach Memorial Hospital and Miller Children's Hospital). From 1989 to 2004, he held various senior level positions with Interpore Cross International, a biotech bone graft and spinal implant company that was acquired by Biomet. Mr. Simmonds is a medical device industry expert with a proven track record in implementing strategic plans, launching new products globally and building long-term business relationships. Mr. Simmonds is fluent in Spanish and has served on the Industry Advisory Council for "Orthopaedics Today." He received a B.S. from Louisiana State University. |
