Since July 1998 Mr. Vallee has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Avnet, Inc. From November 1992 until July 1998, Mr. Vallee was Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Avnet and served as President and Chief Operating Officer from March 1992 until July 1998. Avnet, Inc. is a customer and supplier of electronic components to Teradyne, Inc. Mr. Vallee is also a director of Synopsys, Inc. Synopsys, Inc. is a customer and supplier of Teradyne, Inc.
