Rudolph J. Triana, Jr, MD, FACS, received his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University and his M.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Dr Triana competed his internship and residency in General Surgery and Otolaryngology at the University of North Carolina and was also a Navel Flight Surgeon for four years at the Navel Aerospace Medical Institute. Subsequently he became a Fellow in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Washington. Dr. Triana spent two years at the University of North Carolina as an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology and was awarded a fellowship by the Triologic Society, was a Foreign Research Fellow in Otology in Sydney, Australia and was a research fellow for the Southern Medical Association, Holderness Medical, and the North Carolina Academy of Science. He is Board Certified by both the American Boards of Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and Sigma XI Research Society. |
