Ruth practices employee benefits and executive compensation law. She works closely with privately and publicly-held businesses on qualified and non qualified employee retirement and welfare plans. Ruth assists in analyzing, developing and facilitating employee benefit plans, including mergers and acquisitions, terminations, and flexible benefit and cafeteria plans. She counsels a diverse range of clients on matters of ERISA compliance and other employee benefit related laws. Ruth is a member of the American and Ohio State Bar Associations. She was employed as a legal assistant and employee benefits specialist with the firm from 1972 to 1981 before pursuing her law degree. Ruth was an attorney with Calfee from 1985 to 1988 and senior counsel for Parker Hannifin Corporation from 1988 to 1998. Ruth rejoined the firm in 1998. |
